With over 26 years of experience, Aniket primarily focuses on project financing, corporate financing, loan syndication/consortium financing arrangements, cross-border financing, external commercial borrowings, debt restructuring and asset financing and leasing – acting for both lenders as well as for the borrowers and guarantors.

A graduate of National Law School of India, Bengaluru, Aniket has advised several banks and financial institutions, domestic and international, and various borrower companies, in relation to project financing, structured financing and external commercial borrowings Some of the major clients he has advised in the past include Citibank, Nordbank, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), US EXIM, UK Export Finance and Asian Development Bank. He has advised large domestic banks and financial institutions on their lending transactions, including State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, IDFC, Power Finance Corporation, India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, amongst many more. As Borrower’s counsel, he has regularly acted for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Oil India, Total Energies, Reliance (ADAG), IHB Limited, Alstom, DLF and GVK group, amongst others.

Aniket has also been actively involved in advising clients on aircraft financing transactions, syndicated loan agreements in relation to aircraft financing and related security documentation, aircraft acquisitions, fleet-wide maintenance contracts and in restructuring of airline companies. He has advised airline operators as well as lessors in their various cross-border aircraft leasing transactions. Some of Aniket’s notable clients in the aviation space include Air India, Dassault Aviation, Lufthansa, Kingfisher Airlines, Bangalore International Airport, Changi Airport, Sikorsky, KfW, HSH Nordbank and ICICI Limited. Aniket has also advised the regulator, DGCA, and the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India.
